MET Phys are looking for a bold, enthusiastic and motivated OT to be a part of the MET Phys Team.

This role will start as a part-time position with the opportunity to progress further within our team. We are hoping that you can bring some incredible skills and grow our allied health team even more! Make this role, what you want it to be.!


***TASKS***
-Efficient and effective assessment/therapy services to a range of clientele
-Creating and maintaining professional relationships with clients, families and professionals
-Provide one-on-one sessions based on individual and/or group goals in clinic or home environments
-Carry out group programs to an array of clients of various ages
-Prepare a range of written materials including reports and letters which comply with the practice’s policies and procedures
-Confidence in speaking publicly and professionally to clients and GP’s
-Obtain a drivers license to travel timely to and from locations in order to provide quality service
-Work independently

***SKILLS NECESSARY:***

-Confidence in speaking publicly and professionally to clients and GP’s
-Obtain a drivers license to travel timely to and from locations in order to provide quality service
-Ability to work independently and unsupervised
-Assessing and ongoing monitoring of clients
-Working individually and with groups of clients
-Communicating and reporting to other health and medical professionals
-Health education and promotion for patients
Being comfortable leading group sessions

***REQUIRED EDUCATION:***
-Accreditation through AHPRA
-Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
-Knowledge and experience of working with ASD clients and other disabilities
-CPR and current first aid
-Blue card
