Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist / Registrar – Permanent Part-Time (Toowoomba)

We're seeking a Registered General Psychologist OR Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in our Toowoomba-based private mental health clinic.

We are seeking a Psychologist with General registration or Clinical endorsement to join our dedicated multidisciplinary practice team comprising psychologists, clinical nutritionist, exercise physiologist, and administration specialists.

The Role

You will work with clients across the lifespan, providing individual and group therapy in a private practice setting. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with a team of mental health professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and provide focused psychological strategies to clients of various ages across the lifespan (7yrs through elderly), developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for clients
Provide therapy in face-to-face settings, and over telehealth/phone, as required
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress
Prepare written reports, including third-party/funder required reports
Monthly contribution to research and development of educational content and workplace resources
Participate in case conferences, supervision, and team meetings

Who we seek
Qualifications and essential criteria:

AHPRA Registered as General Psychologist. Clinical Endorsement highly desired.
Minimum 12 months private practice experience highly desired.
Medicare Provider registration (or eligibility)
Criminal History and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Orientation Module completion certificate (or willing to obtain)
Professional Indemnity Insurance (or willing to obtain)
Willing to comply with Queensland Health guidelines/ Public Health orders

Remuneration

General Psychologist
Permanent Part-time, 22.5hr / week
Offering up to $62K + Super (FTE equiv up to $105K + Super)

Clinical Psychologist
Permanent Part-time, 22.5hr/week
Offering up to $74K + Super (FTE equiv up to $125K + Super)
