Aftercare has produced this video for health professionals to support their patients with psychosocial disability to National Disability Insurance Scheme. It presents an NDIS overview, explains the access requirements including understanding and presenting evidence of functional impact.

Matrix Tool: Defining and Providing Evidence of Psychosocial Disability matrix
This explanatory matrix provides ‘at a glance’ information linking symptoms with the functional and physical health implications and then clearly matching with types of support needs, as well as helpful observation examples.

Two-Hour Training Module
Aftercare also offer specifically developed training on ‘Psychosocial Disability and the NDIS’ which is a RACGP QICPD accredited activity and is now being offered to local Primary Health Networks (PHNs), Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and General Practitioners.

One-Hour Information Sessions
Aftercare are also offering 'Information Sessions' which addresses the key issues above which typically in a one-hour workshop. The same information is given as the two-hour sessions, without the same level of detail, with a focus on interaction and being responsive to participants needs.
