Opportunity to improve general practitioner management and prevention of Q fever

December 17, 2018

Input from general practitioners within the Darling Downs and West Moreton region is being sought for a research project on current general practitioner knowledge, attitudes and behaviours regarding the disease, Q fever.

The research involves undertaking an online survey that takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

If you would prefer, a hardcopy version of the survey can be sent to you with a reply paid envelope.

Outcomes from the project will provide important information about the current knowledge on Q fever from a variety of different general practices across the Darling Downs and West Moreton regions to compare with the current epidemiology of this disease and to identify knowledge gaps.  There will be an opportunity for you to participate in a Q fever learning module.

This project has been approved by the University of Queensland and Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC Reference number:  HREC/16/QTDD/48).
