Project ECHO®​ 2019 education dates announced

Project ECHO® has announced their education dates for 2019. The series and dates are as follows: 

ADHD Series

This flagship series will continue with its 7th 10-week series! Do you want to gain access to professional advice about your patients with ADHD – without the wait?  Do you want to gain confidence in managing and supporting children with ADHD and prescribing medication?  

Series 7: 30 January - 03 April 2019

Time: Wednesdays, 8:00am to 9:00am (Brisbane time)

Kids Behavioural & Mental Health Series

Would you like to find out about children with behavioural and mental health challenges?  
This 20-week series will assist you to learn what to look out for, how to manage and when to refer on. 

Series 2: 31 January - 04 April 2019 (sessions 1-10) and 02 May - 04 July 2019 (sessions 11-20)

Time: Thursdays, 8:00am to 9:00am (Brisbane time) 

Overweight & Obesity Series

Find out about how to support children with overweight/obesity issues during this eight-week series. 
Join the growing community of practice that offers specialist advice and guidance for these children and families. 

Series 5: 07 February - 28 March 2019

Time: Thursdays, 8:00am to 9:00am (Brisbane time) 

Supporting Refugee Kids Series

Find out more about trauma informed practice for supporting refugee kids’ health during this seven-week series.

Series 3: 04 February - 18 March 2019

Time: Monday, 3:15pm to 4:30pm (Brisbane time) 

CPD Points Available

For GPs, series attract 40 Category 1 points, accredited as an active learning module through the RACGP QI&CPD Program (2017-2019 Triennium) and 30 Category 1 points through ACRRM.
