The Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN is looking forward to celebrating the upcoming Allied Health Professions Day this Friday, 14 October 2022.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all allied health professionals in our region for the integral role you play in the primary care system, and the invaluable contribution you make to supporting positive health outcomes for the community. Our PHN acknowledges the increasing demand on the Allied health workforce, particularly rurally.
Subsequently, our PHN intends to continue to work with and further support the sector, so that allied health professionals can continue enable continuity of care and a multidisciplinary approach to care in the primary care environment, providing the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
We are very excited to announce the commencement of various allied health support initiatives in the coming months… stay tuned!
