Allied Health Student Supervision Workshop

April 30, 2019

Earlier this month, allied health providers gathered in Toowoomba to hear from numerous speakers about the advantages of student placements for their business and the community.

Working in collaboration with Southern Queensland Rural Health and Toowoomba Surat Basin Enterprise’s (TSBE) Health arm, this successful workshop answered questions and highlighted the benefits students can bring to their businesses and the profession.

Allied health providers who have previously hosted student placements were able to share their learnings with many expressing positive feelings that students help to improve the overall quality of patient care and provide long term strength to the profession.

Our PHN works to provide relevant workshops and seminars for health professionals in our region to improve, update and refresh skills. See our events page to find more education opportunities in your area.
