Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) - support payment

From February 2023, the AGPT Program is transitioning to a college-led model. To find out more, see the AGPT Program Reforms.

From 1 February 2023, the RACGP and the ACRRM will deliver AGPT Program training through their respective college-led training models. Regional training organisations will no longer deliver AGPT program.

From semester one 2023, the National Consistent Payments (NCP) framework will outline the financial support available to eligible registrars, supervisors and practices.

Practices will need to register online with Services Australia to be able to receive their training support payments from the beginning of 2023.

AGPT program participants can now add their bank account details to their PRODA/HPOS Account. This module will assist you in completing the registration process.
