REMINDER - Darling Downs and West Moreton regions moderate risk of COVID-19

Moderate risk requires use of flat surgical masks in most clinical settings for staff, patients and visitors. The full versions of the PPE guidance for healthcare delivery and for residential aged care and disability accommodation can be found here. This communication is provided to you as guidance but does not reflect a mandatory directive.

See the full List of restricted areas for the purposes of Queensland COVID-19 Restricted Areas Direction (No.5).

This risk rating will remain in place for a minimum of four weeks and will be extended until there is clear containment of community transmission.

Telehealth consultations remain an option for providing primary health care without face-to-face contact. Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN is providing primary health care providers with complimentary access to the healthdirect Video Call service.

Project ECHO - COVID-19 sessions

You are invited to attend a new Project ECHO* series focusing on supporting integrated models of care to meet the psychosocial needs of consumers during and following the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Sessions will include brief presentations and discussion on a range of topics, including:

  • Virtual service delivery
  • Transition points in consumer care
  • Complex trauma in grief and loss
  • Support for vulnerable communities
  • Hidden trauma impacts on staff
