UPDATED – COVID-19 CDNA Series of National Guidelines (SoNG)
Version 4.3 of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) SoNG was published on 4 March 2021 and includes revisions to:
- the disease
- case definition
- testing
- case management
- release from isolation
- close contacts
- outbreak investigation and management in high-risk settings
- special situations
- Appendix B, and
- inclusion of a new section: Appendix C.
This latest version can be viewed online.
REMINDER – COVID-19 symptoms assessment and testing
GP RESPIRATORY CLINICS ARE AVAILABLE
GP Respiratory Clinics (GPRC) are available to assess and test your regular patients with symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 that you may be unable to see in your practice. Please ensure that your patients provide your general practice details to the GPRCs who will conduct a full assessment of your patient, copy you into the COVID swab test result and send you a summary of the encounter.
Your patients will need to make an appointment at their closest GPRC. GPRC details can be found at www.ddwmphn.com.au/covid-19
