Safer Internet Day 2020 – Together for a better internet
Safer Internet Day was a good opportunity to consider how to better manage our digital footprint. On 11 February the Australian Digital Health Agency supported the work of Australia’s eSafety Commissioner by spreading online safety messages and promoting the positive use of digital technology. Specialist practices – Benefits of utilising digital health tools
There are numerous benefits when your practice is connected to digital health tools like My Health Record. Paperless communication and record keeping makes it easier to access summary health information, recent healthcare visits, health provider generated documents such as hospital discharge summaries and pathology reports, medications, and personally entered information such as allergies and advance care documents.

NASH certificate expiry dates
Remember to keep an eye on your NASH PKI certificate expiry dates. Your NASH PKI certificate has to be renewed every two years. You can check the expiry date on the HI Service certificate tab in Health Professionals Online Services (HPOS).
Before your certificate expires, you need to request a new NASH PKI so you can continue using My Health Record and in some instances secure messaging.

Sullivan Nicolaides now uploading pathology reports to My Health Record
GP practices and medical specialists who use e-ordering diagnostic tests from Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology can now see the reports uploaded to their patients’ My Health Record on a regular basis.
