SearchExtended - SMS subsidy for electronic prescriptions

The Australian Department of Health has extended its SMS subsidy for electronic prescriptions for a further three months to the end of September 2022.
The extension comes as the department is in the market for prescription delivery service (PDS) providers through a request for tender that appears to be aimed at reducing the price it pays to subsidise electronic prescriptions, including the barcoded paper scripts that still make up the bulk of the market.
