Allied health professionals who contributed to our Allied Health Consultation in early 2022 may be interested in making contributions to the national Allied Health Digital Transformation Roadmap.
The Office of the Chief Allied Health Officer (within the Department of Health) is offering eight health consumer and carer representatives the opportunity to participate in a one-off consumer Focus Group in early February 2023 to contribute feedback and input into the development of the Allied Health Digital Transformation Roadmap.
The Office of the Chief Allied Health Officer (OCAHO) has partnered with a number of key internal and external stakeholders to develop a first draft of the Allied Health Digital Transformation Roadmap. The Roadmap aims to support the allied health workforce to engage with and implement digital transformation and innovation within their services. The OCAHO wants to understand how digital transformation and innovation may impact consumers and ensure that consumer perspectives and needs have been considered and addressed in the proposed initiatives of the roadmap.
This opportunity would suit consumers or carers with a lived experience of accessing or caring for someone who has accessed allied health services in Queensland as well as a passion and commitment to improving health outcomes.
It is desired (but not essential) that consumers would understand and be interested in digital health and healthcare technology.
