Help improve care for young people awaiting mental health services
June 21, 2022
Wait times for mental health services are a national crisis, especially for our young people. As the primary referrers to mental health treatment, GPs are significantly impacted. When providing care to young people, long wait times place additional burden and pressure on GPs as they step in to provide intermediate care with little resources to do so.
Black Dog Institute is exploring the potential of low-cost, evidence-based digital interventions as a stepping-stone while young people await care. They’re now inviting GPs to participate in a survey and share their experiences to help them in their work to find solutions to this worsening issue. You will be reimbursed for your time.
