Last chance to renew your organisation NASH Certificate by 13 March 2022 – There is no extension

To maintain access to important digital health tools such as electronic prescribing, secure messaging or My Health Record, your organisation may need to renew NASH PKI certificate if it is expiring on or before 13 March 2022.

In order to complete this process, please view this short NASH PKI renewal animation which includes simple step-by-step with screenshots in PRODA and HPOS. The video is a quick and useful way to help the Organisation Maintenance Officer (OMO) for your organisation understand the steps involved.

The Australian Digital Health Agency has developed additional resources to support you during the renewal process:

For additional support, please contact our digital health team digitalhealth@ddwmphn.com.au or call us on 07 4615 0909.

Medicare web services update: all providers will be required to have an updated PKI certificate by 13 March 2022 and be using Medicare Web Services compatible software versions by that date. In some instance, your clinical software provider may have arranged an extension. Please contact your software vendor to confirm.

For further information about the transition to webservices please contact Services Australia eBusiness on 1800 700 199.

If you are concerned that your location will not be web services and PRODA (if applicable) ready before 13 March 2022 send an email to help.webservices@servicesaustralia.gov.au to request some additional time.

For more information - Services Australia has recently updated their Web Services eKit. This contains factsheets with important information about what you need to do to prepare for web services and PRODA. Go to servicesaustralia.gov.au/hpwebservices and select ‘How to prepare for web services’.
