Practice Incentive Program (PIP) Quality Improvement (QI) Incentive
July 09, 2019
From 1 August 2019, the Practice Incentive Program (PIP) Quality Improvement (QI) Incentive will be available to PIP registered general practices. The PIP QI Incentive is a payment to general practices for participating in continuous quality improvement activities in partnership with their PHN. More information about the PIP QI Incentive, including the PIP QI Incentive Guidelines (Draft), the PIP Eligible Data Set Data Governance Framework, and the ten Improvement Measures are available on the Department of Health Website.
PenCS and Quality Improvement Training
To support practices, our PHN is working with the Improvement Foundation to provide a series of webinars on PenCS and quality improvement.
These webinars will provide practice managers, practice nurses and GPs with practical information on the functions of CAT4 and Topbar.
These sessions are designed to increase confidence in navigating the CATPlus Suite and the use of these systems to support quality improvement, in line with the requirements for PIP QI.
