Prepare your organisation - digital health and aged care channels are being upgraded to web services technology

From 13 March 2022, users of Medicare Online (including AIR and DVA), ECLIPSE, PBS Online and Aged Care will need to upgrade their software to web services compatible products. Services Australia is also strengthening their authentication process by replacing Medicare PKI site certificates with Provider Digital Access (PRODA) for organisations.

You won’t be impacted by these upgrades if:

  • you don’t use software to transmit claims and data to the agency; or
  • you use alternative digital channels, for example, HPOS or the Aged Care Provider Portal.
