Red Ant Round-Up Descends On Kingaroy
March 08, 2019
Over 150 health professionals are getting ready for a weekend of education with the Red Ant Round-up Medical Conference descending on Kingaroy this weekend, 9 – 10 March 2019.
The biannual rural event provides advanced education for a wide range of health professionals, who would otherwise have long travel times to city centres to access this type of education.
The two-day conference is also a family event where health professionals have been encouraged to bring along their families to partake in a fun-filled Family Program, with activities being run alongside the education events.
The conference will be held at the TAFE Queensland campus in Kingaroy with education seminars set to start from 9am each day. The theme for this weekend is focused on ‘A Country Practice - Everybody’s Business’ and provides education streams for general practitioners, nurses and primary healthcare professionals.

The Red Ant Round-up is organised and facilitated by Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN in collaboration with General Practice Training Queensland (GPTQ) and the Kingaroy Chapter Network.
