Refugee Ready Health Care Online learning now available

The Refugee Ready Health Care online learning pathway is now LIVE and available for primary care providers working with refugees.
From 1 March 2020 – 31 March 2020 the course will be open for comment and feedback from all primary care providers, refugee support services and people from a refugee background. Please use the ‘feedback’ button provided within the course to provide feedback.
The Refugee Ready Health Care Online learning pathway is designed to increase the knowledge and confidence of primary care service providers caring for people from a refugee background, people seeking asylum and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) populations living in our region. .
The course provides targeted, localised education for General Practitioners, practice nurses, practice support staff and allied health practitioners in the Darling Downs and West Moreton region, including local health pathways and region specific support services, and presents the stories of local refugees living in our community.
The Refugee Ready Healthcare online pathway also includes access to the Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma (QPASTT) online training program. Access to this course has been funded by the Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN.
