Join Grand Rounds via Teams for COPD management
West Moreton Health invites GPs to join a Grand Rounds discussion on the management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and the services available for patients in West Moreton. GPs are encouraged to join the discussion in a Q&A. It will be held via Teams meeting on Friday 26 February 2021, 12.30–1.30pm. If you have any questions, please email GP Liaison Officer Dr Tanusha Ramaloo or or Wendy Utz for technical support. Click the link for more information about Grand Rounds.
New check-in supports COVID contact tracing
A QR code check-in system has been introduced at West Moreton Health facilities for all staff and visitors. The new system was designed to reduce the time it takes to sign in and assist the Public Health team with contact tracing in the event of a COVID outbreak at a health facility. Inpatients and outpatients do not need to check in as their admission/appointment is recorded via the Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), Enterprise Scheduling Management (ESM) or Integrated Electronic Medical Records (ieMR). Visitors will be assisted to check in at the entrance of the facility. If they are visiting a patient, they will need to provide the patient’s name. iPad kiosks or paper sign-in will remain available for those who do not have a phone.
Hospital visitor policies
West Moreton Health has updated its visitor guidelines to reflect the current Hospital Visitors Direction from the Chief Health Officer. Please visit the WMH website for latest advice.
