Priority Area – Child and youth mental health services

The activity provides funding of headspace Toowoomba, Warwick and Ipswich to address the mental health needs of children, young people and young adults aged 12- 25 by offering a range of clinical and non-clinical services.

Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN facilitates headspace to deliver an agile model of service for this cohort to meet the changing needs of children and youth. In realignment with the Stepped Care Approach, outreach and other appropriate services for children and youth will continue to be considered to ensure optimal care.
