Process for Unsolicited Proposals
Any unsolicited proposal for funding to provide services or projects outside of our formal commissioning approaches to the market, must be instigated by completing in full our Proposal Template.
It is recommended prior to submitting any proposal, that applicants understand the Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN National Priorities and our strategic intent.
When submitting a proposal, applicants must clearly identify the need for the service or project, and describe how it aligns with the Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN’s strategic goal. The proposed service or project must also appropriately align with the Australian Government Department of Health’s PHN Grant Program Guidelines and Performance Framework.
Interested individuals and organisations can submit an unsolicited proposal for funding to the Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN at any time throughout the year. Received proposals will be formally assessed in our review and assessment sessions.
The timing of the review and assessment sessions depends on several factors, which include the availability of funding in a given financial year, other commissioning priorities, and capacity.
Annually, during November and February, we review and finalise our region's Health Needs Assessment and begin prioritising our key initiatives, therefore proposals submitted prior to this timeframe are optimal.
Any provision of funding is dependent on continued funding from the Australian Government Department of Health.
If you have a project you would like us to consider, please complete our Application for Unsolicited Proposal and email your completed application to firstname.lastname@example.org
