Telehealth is part of our digital health strategy which is a national and local priority for our region.

How telehealth works


Telehealth removes some of the barriers to accessing medical services for Australians by allowing health care providers to deliver care via phone or video consultation.

Access healthdirect Video Call


Our PHN provides complimentary access to healthdirect Australia's Video Call service - a secure platform that allows health care providers (including GPs, allied health providers and residential aged care facilities) to offer their services via a video consultation.

Video Call provides a single consistent entry point on the service’s webpage for all patients (link to waiting room can also be emailed), where they enter an online waiting area for their appointment.

We recommend familiarising yourself with the MBS telehealth items and the COVID-19 Temporary MBS Telehealth Services which can be utilised for telehealth consultations.
