The Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN invites you to our Digital Health in Practice workshop, held in Ipswich on the 5 June 2019.

Sessions:

  • Medical Director - 9.00am – 12.00pm (morning tea provided)
  • Best Practice – 1.00pm – 4.00pm (afternoon tea provided)


Speaker:

Sue Cummins, Train IT Medical, (BA, Dip IT, TAE40110)

Sue is a Train IT Medical Senior Trainer who works closely with medical practices to improve their use of technology and help them to meet accreditation requirements. Sue specialises in quality improvement projects, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and process improvements for risk minimisation and efficiency improvements.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn tips and tricks for maximizing use of Medical Director Clinical / Bp Premier
  • Use digital health as an enabler for practice improvements and information sharing
  • Identify ways to ensure compliance with standards for essential demographic and clinical data entry in (Medical Director Clinical / Bp Premier) including tools for improving data quality
  • Design a systematic approach to quality improvements in preparation for the PIP QI (Top Bar, CAT 4) including developing a practice specific QIA Activity (using QIA forms)
  • Learn how to meet the requirements of the eHealth PIP (including Secure Messaging and e-Prescribing)


This is a free workshop with morning tea or afternoon tea provided.
