Clinical Supervisor Series Training - Providing effective feedback to students
Clinical Supervisor Series Training sessions have been developed to support clinicians who are new to student supervision, want to improve their supervisory skills, or for whom it has been an extended period of time since providing supervision to students. There are eight (8) sessions that have been developed and are appropriate for clinicians from all professions including nursing, midwifery, allied health, and medicine:
- Introduction to Interprofessional education- 1st of March
- Facilitating reflective practice - 15th of March
- Facilitating clinical reasoning- 29th of March
- Understanding learning and teaching styles- 12th of April
- Managing under-performing students- 26th of April
- Providing effective feedback to students- 24th of May
- Difficult conversations- 7th of June
- How to develop student led projects- 21st of June
All sessions will be presented over Zoom at 1pm and run for 1.5 hours
