Course in Ear and Hearing Health
The Course in Ear and Hearing Health (10630NAT) aims to provide eligible participants specific skills and knowledge to perform ear health examinations, basic point of care hearing evaluations, management strategies and referral processes for further or specialist care in relation to a range of conditions, based on detailed knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the auditory system.
This course includes the Unit of Competency EHHPWR003 (Perform Wax Removal). Course delivery and assessment for the course includes a one-day face-to-face workshop, in-class activities assessed by facilitator, observed workplace activity, and an online assessment completed via BenchmarqueIQ.
The course costs $475 (inc. GST) per student.
