Diabetes update day 2019
Every year the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) and Diabetes Queensland bring together current and future leaders in the field of diabetes. As Australia’s fast growing chronic condition, diabetes is the leading cause of heart attack, stroke, kidney disease, limb amputation, depression, anxiety, and blindness but it doesn’t have to be this way. With a focus on prevention, early detection, optimal\ treatment and effective ongoing support and management people living with diabetes can live a full and healthy life. This conference brings together the frontline health care professionals to learn, build networks and to discuss new ideas.
Join more than 200 delegates and Australia’s leading experts in diabetes to discuss the future of managing diabetes, preventing and treating complications and clinical best practice.
The organising committee has designed a program suitable for a range of health professionals including; Nurses, Diabetes Educators, Podiatrists, Pharmacists, Dietitians, General Practitioners, Exercise Physiologists and other allied health professionals. Applications are in progress for this year’s CPD points
