Goondiwindi Region Future Rural Leaders Program

Goondiwindi Regional Council, Engage and Create Consulting and UQ Skills proudly present the "Goondiwindi Region Future Leaders Program", an innovative training and mentoring program for the up and coming leaders of our region.

Facilitated by Julia Spicer of Engage and Create Consulting, this training will run over four days and is fully accredited (therefore the units covered are eligible to be counted towards other Vocational Qualifications).

The units covered in this program are:

  • MSMSUP280 Manage Conflict at work
  • TAEDEL301 Provide Work Skill Instruction
  • BSBLDR403 Lead Team Effectiveness
  • AHCWRK403 Supervise work routines and staff performance

To coincide with the accredited learning, Julia has also organised a number of local guest speakers to share their leadership experiences with the program participants.

This program has been designed for employer-identified future leaders - those who are excellent at their job and would benefit in some extra knowledge and mentoring in the above concepts of leadership.

Course Schedule:

  • Day One - 3rd September 2020

  • Day Two - 4rd September 2020
    Texas Memorial Hall 8:30 am - 4pm
  • Day Three - 17th September 2020
    Waggamba Cultural Centre 8:30 am - 4pm
  • Day Four - 18th September 2020
    Waggamba Cultural Centre 8:30 am - 4pm

The cost to participate in the Goondiwindi Future Rural Leaders Program is $120 per person, with thanks to subsidies provided through the Queensland Government.

(please note that at this stage, there is limited numbers and positions will be allocated on first in, best dressed).
