When: 9:00am - 5:00pm Thursday, 28th February 2019

Where: Canberra (ACT)

Organiser: Crana Rural Nursing

The Rural Nursing Symposium is a forum for engaged nurses, leaders, clinicians and academics to discuss key issues that face rural nursing now and into the future.

The Inaugural Rural Nursing Symposium will be held in Canberra on the 28th February 2019.

The purpose of the symposium will be to:
1. Identify and prioritise a handful of ‘key issues’, along with actions, that are unique to rural nurses now and into the future.
2. Identify the appetite for rural nursing to have a united professional national voice and if so, how is this best achieved.
3. Document any recommendations that arise from the symposium.
4. Determine any next steps.
