Queensland Preterm Birth Prevention Program - GP Forum

Clinical Excellence Queensland invites you to attend the Queensland Preterm Birth Prevention Program (QPTBPP) GP Forum at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Education Centre.

The QPTBPP aims to raise awareness of the seven key evidence-based strategies developed by The Australian Preterm Birth Prevention Alliance to prevent preterm and early term birth.
Topics include:
• Introduction to the National Preterm Birth Prevention Program and the seven evidence-based strategies
• Partnerships in Stillbirth & Preterm Birth Prevention - ‘Timing of Birth is the key’
• Case studies - managing pregnancy at risk of a preterm birth, timing of birth and risk factors for stillbirth
• Education and evidence for progesterone prescription for women at risk of preterm birth
