Rural Emergency Obstetrics Training
As a Rural Generalist you need to be prepared for anything and everything – that’s why the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) runs a full day Rural Emergency Obstetrics Training (REOT) course. Relevant for any type of doctor in any location, REOT helps prepare you with the necessary skills and confidence required for dealing with third trimester emergencies.
Led by experienced GP Obstetricians and midwives, REOT allows you to work with manikins to simulate both common and emergency birthing situations that you are likely to encounter as a rural GP and it’s coming to the Gold Coast on 27 October 2019.
Situations are simulated with the course providers on hand to discuss learning opportunities and help you experiment with the available equipment.
Participants will receive 30 PRPD points, with ACRRM members receiving a discount to attend.
Register for REOT on the ACRRM website. Prefer to talk to someone? Contact the ACRRM courses team on 1800 223 226 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the ACRRM website to see where else REOT is travelling to in 2019.
