Psychological Therapies

This program provides professional, high-quality, and confidential services within a safe and supportive environment. Psychological therapies, delivered by experienced mental health professionals, are specifically tailored to address the needs of underserved communities.

Psychological Therapies:

• Provides evidence-based, structured, short-term, moderate intensity psychological interventions to eligible clients
• Core allocation of 6 sessions, with an additional 4 sessions available where associated case review criteria is satisfied
• Service reports back to GP at session 6 and/or episode conclusion (where patient consent enables)
• Where there is a long wait-time to obtain a Mental health treatment plan from the GP, clients can call the Head to Health Phone Service 1800 595 212 for an assessment and provisional referral into Psychological Therapies (the client should still obtain a Mental health treatment plan as soon as possible).
