If only I could access my patient results

Rural professionals face significant pressure to manage their patients' progress through the healthcare system, and continuity of care is a critical skill for rural generalist medical practitioners. This member-only webinar will feature a discussion with the Australian Digital Health Agency on the increase in pathology and diagnostic imaging results in My Health Record. Over the past year, there has been a 72% surge in pathology reports, with 275 million reports sent to My Health Record.

My Health Record provides doctors with several views of information collected from all the patient documents in the record, enabling them to locate essential information to support patient care. Additionally, the recently launched My Health Record app puts patients' key health information at their fingertips.

The webinar will showcase a demonstration of the My Health Record system and the Healthdirect 'Service Finder,' which helps patients find a health service that meets their specific needs through a range of questions. The Service Finder has recently been enhanced to include the national 'vaccine clinic finder' functions and searches for other healthcare services.
