Join us for a Queensland specific hot topic webinar to explore how Hepatitis C care is being successfully embedded into Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) settings to support Australia’s hepatitis C elimination goals by 2030.
You will learn from established clinicians doing exciting work on the front lines such as Dr. Jeremy Hayllar, Clinical Director of the Alcohol and Drug Service in North Brisbane, Kylie Page of Queensland Health and Joss O’Loan from the Kombi Clinic. In addition, QUIHN’s Peer Harm Reduction Worker Esha Leyden will be discussing her lived experience with accessing care in Queensland.

Target Audience:

Course Components:
This webinar will be a 1.5hr facilitated online session, including a keynote, clinical and lived experience presentations followed by a Q&A. The program will highlight real-world models of care, lived experience and frontline clinical insights from speakers across AOD settings in both metro and regional Queensland.
Learning Outcomes:
Describe practical models of care that support hepatitis C testing and treatment in AOD settings.
Identify strategies to reduce stigma and enhance engagement with people accessing AOD services in the context of hepatitis C care.
Apply insights from peer and frontline perspectives to improve service delivery.

ASHM is an RACGP-accredited CPD Provider under the RACGP CPD Program.
