Full Time

Location: Medicare Mental Health Centre Kingaroy

Ready to make a real difference in mental health care? We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Medicare Mental Health Centre in Kingaroy. You’ll work under the guidance of the Clinical Lead to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to the South Burnett community.

As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you’ll deliver tailored psychological interventions, guide and supervise clinical and non-clinical staff, contribute to a positive team culture, and support flexible and frequent client contact through our co-designed model. This role is all about making a meaningful impact.

The benefits are just as rewarding. Enjoy up to $15,900 of tax-free income through salary packaging, access professional development and training opportunities, work alongside a team of likeminded mental health professionals, and enjoy well-equipped consulting rooms and shared spaces. You’ll be supported by strong and passionate leadership and enjoy a range of staff discounts, a referral program, and an Employee Assistance Program.

On a daily basis, you’ll be conducting clinical assessments, collaborating on treatment plans, developing risk management strategies, delivering evidence-based care, and providing supervision and line management to a small team. You may also oversee students.

We’re looking for a professional, compassionate, and innovative clinician with tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, or a similar discipline. You’ll need to be registered with the appropriate body, have strong mental health experience, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to work in complex and crisis situations. A collaborative spirit and great communication skills are key.

You’ll also need a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or be able to obtain one, and a current and satisfactory Police Check.
