Spotlight on clinical trials: Understanding your patients’ needs
Join for an engaging educational webinar designed for all nurses who have an interest in clinical trials or skin cancer.
Clinical trials are fundamental to ensuring the best possible care for our patients, and nurses are critical to the multidisciplinary care of patients on trial. With the number of clinical trials increasing, particularly in the oncology field, nurses are bound to encounter a patient involved in a trial. It is therefore useful for all nurses to have a broad knowledge this area of patient care.
In the next MIA Nurse Webinar, they will shine a spotlight on their Clinical Trials Program at Melanoma Institute Australia. The speaker, Maria Gonzalez (Head of Clinical Trials), will discuss the different phases of clinical research, the importance of informed consent and patient safety, and how ground-breaking clinical trials at MIA are helping towards reaching their goal of zero deaths from melanoma.
