Diagnosing and Managing Youth Mental Illness in Primary Care
Early intervention is the key to achieving better long-term mental health outcomes for young people but many primary care clinicians report a lack of confidence in this area. Gain youth-specific skills to support the diagnosis and management of young people's mental health with this new 8-week, online micro credential that has been co-designed with Australia’s leading experts in youth mental health and young people with lived-experience.

✔️ Identify and address different forms of mental ill-health
✔️ Explore diagnostic challenges and multi-modal intervention strategies
✔️ Develop a youth mental health care plan tailored to an individual's specific needs
✔️ Earn 42.5 hours of CPD (RACGP accredited for GPs)
✔️Start Date: 6 October 2025
