The Mental Health Act 2016 provides a legislative framework for the treatment of a person with a mental illness without consent.
Catherine Elliott (Credentialed Mental Health Nurse) will lead a session of information and discussion which will cover assessment under the Act, Treatment Authorities, and client right under the Mental Health Act.
This is an opportunity to network and get to meet with other Mental Health Professionals in the Southern Downs.
