Early Years Health Coordinator

Job Description

The Early Years Health Coordinator for Ipswich will provide leadership and strategic oversight of the operations and management of the Community Early Years Health program. 

• Based in Ipswich 
• Part Time
• $105,570.00/yr - $115,337.00/yr to be pro rata for 28 hours per week
• This range is provided by SSI. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience - talk with our recruiter to learn more.

About You

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy, psychology or speech pathology as an advantage.
• Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (APHRA), and/or certification with the relevant professional regulatory/oversight body: the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, the Psychology Board of Australia, or Speech Pathology Australia, as applicable. 
• Demonstrated understanding of the local needs and experiences of migrant and refugee communities, including humanitarian entrants, with a strong focus on the needs of parents/caregivers and children aged 0–5 years. 
• Strong knowledge and application of community development principles and place based integrated care. 
• Proven ability to lead, support, and develop teams delivering community-based programs that respond to the needs of vulnerable families and promote community connection and participation. 
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships and collaborative relationships with community groups, service providers, and government stakeholders to enhance program outcomes and community impact. 
• Sound understanding of governance and program accountability, including experience delivering against funding agreements, meeting reporting requirements, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across local and national initiatives. 
• Ability to identify and appropriately manage risks and conflicts of interest within program delivery and partnerships. 
• Current Driver’s License.
