Medical Receptionist

Key Responsibilities:
• Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional first point of contact
• Managing phone enquiries, appointments, and patient bookings
• Processing patient arrivals, billing, and Medicare claims
• Assisting doctors and nurses with administrative tasks
• Maintaining reception area organisation and cleanliness
• Managing correspondence, recalls, emails, and daily administrative duties
• Supporting the team during busy periods to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare admin role (preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with MD/Pracsoft or similar medical software (advantageous)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team
• A friendly and professional demeanour
