Palliative Medicine Physician / Specialist Doctor

For more than 30 years, Karuna has provided specialist in-home and community-based palliative care across Brisbane, supporting people with life-limiting illness to live with comfort, dignity and peace.

We are seeking a Palliative Medicine Physician / Specialist Doctor to join our community service three days per week, working alongside our current Palliative Care Specialist within a skilled multidisciplinary team.

The Role

Provide specialist palliative medicine support for patients receiving care through Karuna’s community service (approx. 500 patients annually). The role includes telehealth consultations, case reviews and occasional home visits, working closely with GPs and the clinical team to guide care planning and symptom management.

About You

• Registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Experience in palliative or end-of-life care

FAChPM through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians preferred but not essential.
