Psychologist – Part-Time (2–3 Days per Week)
Expected salary is $85,000–$115,000 per year (full-time equivalent) plus superannuation. Part-time hours will be paid on a pro-rata basis, with final remuneration dependent on experience.

Cooinda Therapy is welcoming Registered, Endorsed (Clinical or other) and Registrar Psychologists to join our warm, boutique practice in Plainland, in the heart of the Lockyer Valley, less than an hour from Brisbane and Toowoomba. This is a part-time opportunity (2–3 days per week) building to a full time load if desired. There is flexibility around days and hours (including school-friendly options where possible), strong professional support, and genuine scope to grow with the practice over time.

The Opportunity
This role offers variety, autonomy, growth and genuine purpose. As a Psychologist at Cooinda Therapy, you will:
• Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy to a diverse client population in a rural setting
• Work with your preferred populations and presentations.
• You can work with individuals and/or groups, including children, adolescents, and adults
• Deliver engaging, meaningful therapy tailored to each client’s goals and lived experience
• Provide trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate interventions where required
• Develop collaborative, client-centred care plans and regularly review progress
• Support clients to build emotional wellbeing, independence, and community participation
• Work alongside GPs and allied health and community partners
• Contribute to a warm, values-driven, and supportive clinic culture

About You
You’re a compassionate, capable clinician who values both professional autonomy and genuine connection. You will bring:
• Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist (General, Registrar or Endorsed)
• Current Medicare provider number
• A warm, professional manner paired with a genuine passion for providing individualised, ethical, and evidence-based care
• Strong assessment and therapeutic skills appropriate to your level of experience
• Confidence working with diverse clients and presentations, including complexity and trauma
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders
• Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional development
