We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team for a temporary maternity leave contract in our busy and supportive general practice. The position is 2 days per week, with additional leave cover available when required.
Our nurses are involved in all aspects of general practice nursing, including immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management, health assessments, procedures and patient education. Previous general practice experience is preferred, however the right candidate without GP experience may also be successful, and this role would provide a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in primary care.
We are a fast-paced practice, so we are looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
There is also potential for the role to be extended or transition into an ongoing casual position within the practice following the maternity leave period for the right candidate
