Our GP clinic in beautiful Chinchilla, Queensland is looking for a casual Registered Nurse to join our friendly team. This could be the perfect opportunity for an experienced nurse who is looking to step back from full-time nursing without stepping away completely.

About the role
You will work autonomously while supporting our Medical Superintendent of the local hospital, who also works as our clinic GP, along with two telehealth doctors. The role will include:
- Health assessments
- GP Chronic Condition Management Plans
- Vaccinations and immunisation clinics
- Treatment room and general practice nursing duties
- Providing compassionate, patient-centred care
About you
We are looking for an AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse who is:
- Confident working autonomously
- Experienced in health assessments and chronic disease management
- Confident administering vaccinations and familiar with the Queensland vaccination schedule
- Empathetic, reliable and adaptable
- An excellent verbal and written communicator
- Previous GP nursing experience is an advantage, but not essential — we are happy to consider nurses from a range of backgrounds.
Hours and flexibility
This is a casual position, with a minimum of approximately 3 days per week, around 6 hours per day. Flexibility is important, as hours will depend on GP availability and may occasionally include an evening or weekend. Contract arrangements, days and hours will be discussed with our Principal GP / Practice Owner.
