Medicare Mental Health Centres provide a welcoming and accessible entry point for individuals facing mental health, alcohol or drug-related concerns. They support families and caregivers with a “no wrong door” approach, ensuring that everyone receives the help they need. The centres facilitate consistent assessments and warm transfers to appropriate services. They offer free, safe, and welcoming support for adults experiencing distress, feeling overwhelmed, or worried about themselves or someone they care about.
Notice: Please be aware that the Ipswich centre will have a short closure on from 9am to 3pm on Wednesday, 26 August 2026 for staff training.
