End-of-Life Essentials Webinar - Terminal Care Essentials

The End-of-Life Essentials Terminal Care Essentials webinar will provide practical insights for clinicians caring for people in the final stages of life, with a focus on supporting compassionate, confident and person-centered care.

Facilitator (Co-Lead End-of-Life Essentials) : Dr Claudia Virdun - Claudia is a specialist palliative care nurse, researcher, and senior lecturer in Palliative and End of Life Care at Flinders University.

Professor Leeroy William: Professor William has been a palliative medicine specialist since 2009 and has worked in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. He is currently the Head of Palliative Care at South West Healthcare.

Jeanette Lacey - Jeanette is the End-of-Life Care Nurse Practitioner at John Hunter Hospital. With a background in Emergency, ICU, and organ donation, Jeanette is passionate about improving communication and recognising end-of-life care as urgent care.

Joshua Cohen - Josh is a palliative care nurse practitioner who has been working in the community setting for the last 10 years. He is particularly passionate about aged care and the management of palliative care needs.
