GP Clinical Software and Clinical Document requirements Workshop

The Australian Digital Health Agency is hosting an informative and interactive virtual workshop. The objective of this session is to provide an overview of two new products currently in development and to ensure individuals have the opportunity to provide feedback on the content that will help shape both the products and the scenarios in which they will be used.

Below are the two products developed to support the utilisation of digital health standards in aged care settings:

  • GP Clinical Software document will collate existing standards into one requirements document for the primary care software sector that support residential aged care homes. This will allow for interoperability with aged care clinical information systems and will help in addressing barriers to GPs providing clinical care to patients in residential aged care homes.
  • Clinical Note Document is a new FHIR-based document designed to overcome technical barriers that hinder information sharing between residential aged care homes (RACHs) and GP Clinical Software systems, supporting seamless communication and continuity of care for aged care residents.

This workshop is designed to facilitate collaboration and gather feedback. There will be break-out sessions to ensure you are given the opportunity to provide feedback.

Who should attend?

The workshop is aimed at people who work in aged care and primary care settings, primary health networks, clinical peaks and government agencies. There is no maximum number of attendees per organisation.
