IAR-DST National Training
Join us for training in the Initial Assessment and Referral (IAR) Decision Support Tool (DST) for Mental Healthcare.
The National IAR Guidance and IAR-DST has been developed by the Australian Department of Health and is being rolled out nationally. Further information can be found in the IAR Snapshot.
Target audience: Practising GPs and allied health professionals.
You only need to complete one session regardless of the adaptation. Our sessions are in demand and we ask that you do not register for more than one session.
Accreditation:
RACGP: 1 Educational Activity hour, 1 Reviewing Performance hour.
ACCRM: 1 Educational Activity hour, 1 Reviewing Performance hour.
Learning Outcomes are:
- Summarise the principles underpinning the national approach to stepped care.
- Summarise the IAR development process.
- Explain the use of IAR Guidance in practice settings to generate a recommended level of care.
- List the levels of care in relation to available regional services
- Identify the principles related to clinical decision making and consumer choice
Presenter - The workshop will be facilitated by an experienced IAR Training and Support Officer (TSO) from the National TSO Network.
