SearchMental Health Care Plans and the MBS
This session provides both clinical and practical billing information for the General Practitioner. It is ideal for the new GP Registrar to grasp the importance of a good mental health care plan. These valuable consultations with patients provide the clinician and opportunity to assess, plan and build patient relationships. They explain the process of evaluating the patients eligibility, exclusions from mental health care plans, preparing and finalising the mental health care plan, writing referrals and reviewing the plans. All this in the context of MBS billing to allow you to provide the appropriate rebates to your patients for services provided.
