SearchObesity Care in Primary Practice
Obesity is a complex, chronic condition influenced by metabolic, psychological, hormonal and social factors, and remains one of the most challenging issues encountered in general practice. This multidisciplinary education session is designed to support GPs with practical, evidence-based approaches to contemporary obesity care, including the use of incretin-based therapies, sensitive communication strategies, nutritional support, and the management of key comorbidities such as menopause-related metabolic change, mental health conditions and eating disorders. Through expert presentations and case-based discussion, this program aims to strengthen GP confidence in delivering compassionate, effective and whole-person obesity care in everyday clinical practice.
